BillyBobby crunched down so loudly that Mrs. Emerson's glass figurines fell from the shelves. Her customers viewed this askance and she chewed another clerk out in a loud voice. The room was supposed to be off limits to customers, but apparently BillyBobby had been flauting his connections again and the police turned a blind ear.
